Hazel Dean’s is a gourmet specialty market conveniently located in the Village at Wexford on Hilton Head Island. We are proud to offer hand-cut meats, hanging salamis, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses from around the world, specially selected wines, regional craft beers, condiments, and snacks. We can do special orders of most meat products, including standing rib roast, whole beef tenderloin, foie gras, lamb, and more.
Our suppliers are the very best in their categories, and several of them are highlighted on this website, including the Wagonhammer Ranch below. 1855 Black Angus Beef
“Black Angus” refers to cattle with Angus genetics whose hides are predominantly black and are best known for delivering consistent, reliable beef. While Angus is the most common breed of beef cattle in the United States, 1855 beef is sourced solely from Black Angus cattle raised in the grain-rich areas of the Great Plains, a region known for producing the richest Black Angus cattle available. We partner with family ranchers, such as Jay Wolf and the Wagonhammer Ranch (pictured), who understand the steps required to achieve a memorable eating experience.

Our beautiful cheese counter is full of different shapes, styles, and flavors. We partner with cheese makers who are known for the quality of their cheese through their focus on livestock diet, the heat treatment of the milk, and the aging process.

We work with local distributors to source excellent wines at reasonable prices. By offering wines that are not available in the quantities demanded by local restaurants and hotels, the quality of our wines rivals what you would expect at the finest retailers, but at a price that is very affordable. Although we often don’t offer the same vintages twice, what we do offer is sure to please you and your guests.

Smoked Fish
Our smoked salmon and trout come from Alan Patak in Austell, Georgia. His parents opened the business in 1981, specializing in fine, European-style meats.
